Our group led by Dr. Chandrasekhar Murapaka is a dynamic research team dedicated to exploring the frontier of spin- based electronics. Our work focuses on the fundamental physics and applied technologies of spintronic materials and devices, with an emphasis on magnetic domain dynamics, skyrmion dynamics and energy efficient information storage.
We bring together researchers from diverse backgrounds- physics, material science, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering- to tackle cutting edge problems in magnetism and spin transport. Our current research includes the development of ferrimagnetic materials, exploration of topological spin textures, topological insulators, Heusler alloys and realization of multistate memory devices.
The group is working collaboratively on both experimental and theoretical aspects of spintronics. We are actively involved in national and international collaborations. We aim to contribute not only to academic advancement but also to the development of next-generation technologies that are faster and more efficient.
